Presented in partnership with Deutsche Bank, Australasia’s most celebrated art fair returns to Carriageworks from 13 – 16 September 2018 (VIP preview Wednesday 12 September). With over 80 galleries from around the world showcasing the work of over 300 leading and emerging artists from more than 30 countries (including Australia, Argentina, China, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, the UK and the USA), the Fair’s ambitious four-day program includes ground-breaking installations, live performances, engaging panel discussions, experimental moving image art, and food and drink from some of Sydney’s best restauranteurs.

Now in its fourth edition, Sydney contemporary is one of the most significant and celebrated art events on the city’s cultural calendar, providing collectors, high-net-worth individuals and the art loving public with access to cutting-edge art from some of the world’s most respected artists and galleries as well as the opportunity to discover new and emerging talent.

Founded by Tim Etchells. The co-founder of ART Hong Kong (now Art Basel Hong Kong) and ART Central Hong Kong, Sydney Contemporary has established itself as the must-see contemporary art event and has cemented its position in a line-up of increasingly influential fairs around the world.
